That’s why City University of Seattle is proud to partner with Year Up United to offer Career Connect, a professional development program available at no cost to all CityU students.
What is Career Connect?
Career Connect is a flexible, six-week experience designed to help students develop the skills, confidence, and social capital needed to launch their careers. With a time commitment of just 2 to 4 hours per week, the program fits alongside coursework, work, and other responsibilities.
Through interactive virtual workshops, students gain practical, career-focused skills that top employers value. Topics include confidence building, growth mindset, personal branding, motivation, professional communication, and networking. Participants also connect with peers and program leaders in an engaging online community that supports personal and professional growth.

Upcoming Fall Session
The next Career Connect cohort begins October 13, 2026, with two workshop topics offered each week. The deadline to submit your registration form is October 7, 2026. All enrollment requirements must be completed before participation.
