“We are so proud of the work that the Enactus team accomplished. Leading up to the competition, the team met with city officials, Uplift Northwest, and cleaning supply companies to develop a budget, business plan, and training opportunities. They worked around the clock to put their business plan into action, and I am so impressed with the work that they have done and all that they have accomplished,” said Dr. Kathy Cox. “Their work on this project not only gave them entrepreneurial skills and experience, but it will also have real-world implications as their business plans are put into practice through our partnership with Uplift Northwest.”
The CityU’s Enactus team that traveled to the competition in New York included: Thamiris Cortes De Aguiar, Enactus President, Anh (Annie) Nguyen, Valentina Cercado Leiva, Soumia Taghouti, Suong (Susan) Nguyen, Shanna Sims, Nhi (Jennie) Dang, Ky Luu, Yingyan (Fern) Fang, Harry Jinwala, and Jiaqi (Edward) Zhu.
