City University of Seattle will recognize an estimated 935 graduates worldwide, including 750 students attending the 49th annual commencement ceremony on June 22 at 1 p.m. at T-Mobile Park.
About the graduates
CityU will confer an estimated 14 associate degrees, 243 bachelor degrees, 599 master degrees and 22 doctoral degrees. The university will recognize 210 students with President’s Honors (for eligible master degree candidates with GPAs of 3.90 or higher) and 49 with Latin Honors (for eligible bachelor degree candidates who attain the following requisite GPAs: a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher – summa cum laude, a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher – magna cum laude, a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher – cum laude).
Student speaker
Alfonso Brown, who is earning a Doctor of Education in Leadership (Ed.D), will be the student speaker at this year’s ceremony.
