Coursework will provide graduates with skills necessary for leading teams, resolving conflict, motivating others, understanding organizational structure, ethics in business situations, and a host of practical management techniques. The program also explores general management concepts, including the fundamentals for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
The Associate of Science in Management will prepare students to:
- Evaluate resources and evidence to develop, organize, and communicate concise, logical, and consistent messages.
- Apply principles of critical thinking to identify, categorize, and analyze issues to develop sound and logical conclusions.
- Identify and integrate ethical issues, based on individual and organizational valuates, and apply principles in decision-making.
- Appreciate and explain differences in behaviors and practices of individuals, organizations, and communities.
- Apply basic concepts of management to a variety of organizational settings.
