The Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at City University of Seattle is part of a nationwide network of Institutes led by the founding Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at National University, which developed the educational curricula and resources shared by all affiliated Institutes.
The purpose of the Institute is to help individuals in the nonprofit sector learn how better to communicate about their causes and apply a business-minded approach to fundraising. With better fundraising strategies, nonprofits will be empowered to raise more money and in turn better support their missions.
“When an organization’s fundraising capabilities improve, the impact they have in the community grows,” said Libbie Stellas, Director of the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at City University of Seattle. “Together we can enable nonprofits to make the world a better place.”
