Educational Leadership Alumni Recognized by State of Washington

Debra Gary graduated from City University of Seattle in 1999 with an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and is now the Principal of Pioneer Elementary in the Auburn School District.

Debra’s school was recently recognized by Washington’s Innovative School program as one of four schools in the state consistently promoting innovative, creative and collaborative approaches to increasing student success.

Schools apply for the designation, and a statewide selection committee of education leader sand experts review applications and recommend schools for the designation.
