City University of Seattle offers an accredited Washington State residency certificate for principals and program administrators through its Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership with Administrator Certification. This administrator certificate program is designed for professionals seeking to advance into leadership roles that require administrator certification. You will cover topics such as instructional supervision, finance, law and human resources, and leadership.

Our Certification programs are delivered online through a combination of asynchronous coursework and scheduled live online sessions held a few times each quarter in our 5 core classes. You’ll need a master’s degree from an accredited university to enroll or get your master’s with CityU!

This administrator certificate program is geared toward those who already have a master’s degree and want to complete a Washington State Residency Administrator Certificate. CityU also offers the Master of Education in Leadership with Administrator Certification for those without a master’s degree.
