Life at Cornish Commons
Cornish Commons is an state-of-the-art 20-story residence hall 20-story residence hall that is shared by City University of Seattle and Cornish College of the Arts. The building features resident rooms, community spaces and an indoor-outdoor lounge on the 20th floor with an incredible view. Additional amenities include:
- Shared community kitchen
- Art studio
- TV lounge
- Pool table
- Fireplace
- Fitness center
- Laundry facility
Residents of Cornish Commons get to enjoy meals at the dining center, Nellie’s Café, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and grab and go specials daily.
Resident rooms
There are five types of resident rooms: two-person, three-person, single and super-single rooms, as well as two-person rooms with kitchens. Each room has a bathroom with its own toilet and shower. Utilities, internet and basic furnishings are all included in the price of the room.
Each student is furnished with:
- An extra-long single bed and mattress
- A desk, chair and filing cabinet
- A dresser and closet
The two-person rooms with kitchens include a refrigerator, stove, convection microwave oven, sink and cabinets.
