The Bachelor of Science in Data Science is specifically designed for students seeking to enter the highly in-demand field of data science. Throughout this program students will sharpen their skills in data science principles, critical and ethical thinking, quantitative literacy, communication and collaboration, and general computing knowledge.

The BS in Data Science program offers online courses that can be completed at your own pace. You can complete this bachelor’s degree in as little as two years, if bringing in prior transfer credits, and can apply to the program with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

The Bachelor of Science in Data Science (BSDS) is interdisciplinary and requires the effective integration of three components to produce meaningful results. The three components include the domain that provides the data; statistics for analysis, modeling, and inference; and computer science for data access, management, protection, and effective processing in modern computer architectures. This degree prepares graduates for a myriad of opportunities to work in and advance their data science careers.
